диип перпл 1976

Another balls up meant that the programme only appeared in Europe in time for the last few UK shows in March 1991. The picture quality was poorer than before. The front was cut in the shape of the new logo.

Better designed than the 1985 effort, with clearer photos. Text was a look at the new album by Mark Putterford, and an overview of the 1985 tour by Simon Robinson. Only appeared on sale in time for the UK dates in March 1987 after missing the earlier European shows.

First appeared during the 1984 Australian tour as a 20 page full colour glossy, with the Australian / NZ dates listed. The programme was expanded for the European leg to 28 pages, including live photos from Australia. The Japanese edition is 44 pages, and featured the words 'Japan Tour '85' along the bottom of the front.

Group biog. Page for each band member. Group photo. 3 pages of adverts and merchandise. Pretty cheap looking effort. NOTE : sold only at the UK shows.

Approx A4. 12 pages. Colour card cover.

Two colour card cover. Mono inside. Group biog. Page for each band member. Group photo. All text and images is different to the UK tour programme from 1976. Discog. Two blank pages (!). Pretty cheap looking effort. Printed by T W Pegg, Fulham. Published by J K Smith, Heston. The programme was printed in the UK and sold on US dates. Excess stock was later sold off at the UK shows in 1976. Bizarrely details of merchandise were given inside with prices in dollars but a UK address. NOTE : Glenn Hughes objected to the text on his page, and later copies had a different page glued over!

Page count down from 1973, but better picture content, including 5 nice live pics across the centre spread. Most other photos are from the Come Taste The Band rehearsals.

Free programme for shows at the Berne Festhalle, including three pages on Deep Purple for September 29th 1974, with support by The Sensational Alex Harvery Band.

Custom 185 by 288mm. 26 pages. Diecut cover. Colour. Sold only on the British dates (as far as we know there wasn't a programme for other European shows). Pages of individual and group shots from the december 1973 shows, plus a discography, adverts for Burn. Elf and Marshall and a page on history of support band Elf. Designed and printed by Blue Egg. NOTE : front cover is cut out in oval shape to reveal band logo on next page. Sold for 40p on the tour. Badges and stickers were also available. This was the first time any proper merchandise had been made available for a Deep Purple tour in the UK.
